This page contains bits and pieces of me. Wait, no, ew... bits and pieces of my thoughts. Yes, that's better. As I progress through my day, week, month, whatever, I'll post little bits and pieces. Almost like a diary, but public. Some may be long, some may be short. Some may be fascinating, and more likely than not, some may be boring. Please enjoy, or, if you choose, don't:

Well, it appears to be quite some time since my last blog. Much has happened, most of which I'll probably not remember to post. Let's see... to update you on IGN, yes that Reader of the Week was posted, although I can't find the link now. Shortly after that, though, I was elected as a Moderator on the IGN Boards. Now I can have my own, custom icon, I can choose the color scheme for my name, I get a pretty title below my name, and... oh, yes, I get to edit other peoples' posts, lock threads, delete posts, ban users, and more. I will, of course, use my powers for good, and not evil, unless I choose to use them for evil. In September I booked my first job of the year (really bad year), as Croyce on Grounded for Life. If you're familiar with the show, Lily's boyfriend is Brad and he's kind of a geek. His two best friends are Croyce and Mitchell. That basically tells you everything of importance about the character. It was a small but funny role, and has now spawned into a somewhat recurring role. Last week I filmed my second episode, and next month I film my third. The show's really great to work on, and I hope to do continue working on the show should it make it to the next season. I need the money, and it's a lot of fun. Well, that's really all I'm going to post for now. Why? Because, as I said, I can't remember anything else interesting to post. Maybe I'll do more later. Maybe not.

Depending on why you're here, you may or may not know that I spend most of my time hanging out on the Boards at IGN.com. I spend a lot of time talking about a lot of different things, although I spend most of my time on the Game Boy-related boards. Well, today I got a Private Message (IGN's form of e-mail between Board users) from Fran Mirabella, Editor-in-Chief for IGN Insider (their subscription-only portion, which includes most of the Boards), asking if I would mind being chosen as Reader of the Week. Reader of the Week is IGN Insider's spotlight on one particular user on the Boards. Apparently it's someone that's caught their eye for one reason or another as standing out. I honestly don't know the criteria, or what drew them to choose me, but it's kind of exciting. Anyway, once the interview is uploaded, I'll go ahead and past a link to it, here.

I was recently interviewed for a great up-start entertainment site called BackStagePass. The interview went up today, and can be accessed a their website, www.back-stage-pass.com.

Well, I just uploaded what I like to call version 2.5 of my site. I thought about the version number a bit, contemplating 2.1, 2.3, 3.0, etc., and finally decided that it was a large enough revision to merit a full half-number, but not large enough to warrant a full number change. That I'll save for a complete redesign. There are quite a few changes, though everyone keeps the same flow, so they appear almost minor. First off, I removed the News page. I've been too lazy to put actual news on that page, and lately I've been posting what amounts to news on this page. No point in repeating myself. I then decided to streamline things by having only one Résumé link in the menu, as opposed to one for each seperate résumé. Cuts down on the size of the menu, and just makes more sense. I also removed the Personal Pages section. This site is my personal site, in my opinion, and as I never had anything but a poorly-designed "Coming Soon" page (somebody shoot me for using the MARQUEE tag... I might as well have used BLINK) as my personal page, there was little point. As for my mother's personal site, I'll find a place to add a link to that soon. Perhaps in my new section. As for that new section, it's called Fun Stuff. A few rare, priviliged (or cursed) people were informed that if they added an index2.html to the end of the address to my "Personal Site," it would take them to the alpha version of my actual personal site (the one that was coming soon in so many different ways). This site was oh-so-cleverly (about 3-4 years ago) named "Site of a Thousand Whatevers!" It mainly contained tons of jokes, and pages for other fun things that I never bothered to add. All of these jokes, in a much more organized fashion, have been added to my new Fun Stuff section. Also, the other pages that had no content have been added to this section, as well. They still have no content, but I have confidence that that will actually change in the very near future. In fact, the entire Fun Stuff section will hopefully change and evolve on a constant basis. I plan on adding new items to each of the sections within them on a semi-regular basis. I may even have to put those abominable "Last Edited" phrases at the bottoms of the pages. So, that's it for now. There may be a version 2.6 or more in the not-too-distant future... maybe with a guestbook or message board, or something. If you find any problems with the new site, please let me know. E-mail me at the link in the menu above.

I just searched TV Guide's web site for my name and found that my episode of Judging Amy has been scheduled to air on Tuesday, March 5. Check your local listings for time and channel. I filmed this one a couple of weeks ago, and although I don't know how it's going to turn out, if it's anything close to how I felt when I did, I think it'll be one to be proud of. Keep an eye out for it, and let me know what you think. If it's good enough, hopefully I can use it for my reel.

Today I stopped by my local Borders book store, as I found a gift card a good friend had given me a while ago that I had not used. When I got there they were having a live performance. The artist was named Robby Longley. I wouldn't know how to describe his music, although his site calls him a "fingerstyle guitarist," "classical Flamenco guitarist," and composer. I call him amazing. I'll skip quickly past the fact that his music was absolutely fantastic. There's no need to go into detail there, it was just plain amazing. What was more incredible, though, was his playing style. I suppose that's what the "fingerstyle" part is all about. I had never seen a guitar played the way he did. His fingers were pretty much everywhere but the "normal" places. His hands went into every conceivable position, as well as a few that weren't. He plucked the strings all the way up along the frets, and all the way down at the base (sorry for the lack of detailed terminology, but I'm out of my element here), and only occasionally in the center where I'd expect to see them. He played with his fists, with his knuckles, fingertips, fingernails, and oftentimes was moving his hands in such wild, out-of-control motions, it was only the perfect sound of the music that told me he wasn't just thrashing it randomly. He was selling his CDs for $15, and if I had had the cash, I would have grabbed one on the spot, although part of the experience would have been wasted. Watching him is at least half the fun. I suggest you check out his site, listen to his music, and see if he'll be performing anywhere near you. Trust me, it's worth it. www.robbylongley.com

This paragraph was written by me, and not the clever little service. Really. I did it out of my own kindness.
